No sign-upNo email, no phone number, no password. Pick any name.
You decide who sees youYour position is shared only while you share it, and only with the group or link you chose.
Nothing kept for longPositions disappear after 4 hours without an update; live location links end when you say you're OK, or a day later.

Questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Both apps work in the browser on any phone or computer. You can add them to your home screen to open them like an app, and GoLynQ Help is also available as an iPhone app, which can keep the timer and live location running while your phone is locked.

Do my friends need the app to see me?

No. A group link or a live location link opens in any browser, with nothing to install and no account.

Is it free?

Yes, both apps are free.

Which languages?

English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (GoLynQ Help), Japanese and Korean. The apps follow your device's language.

GoLynQ is not an emergency service. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number first. Alerts depend on your phone, battery, network, GPS and permissions, and can fail or be delayed.
